ACC Continues Subsidizing Insurance of Spring Crop Sowing Areas

Application Deadlines Set According to Regional Specifics

Agrarian Credit Corporation JSC continues accepting applications for subsidized insurance of spring crop sowing areas against drought risks as part of the 2026 campaign. Under the program terms, 80% of the insurance premium is covered by state funds, while the remaining 20% is paid by the agricultural producer.

Insurance coverage applies to non-irrigated lands during the 2nd and 3rd vegetation phases. Application deadlines are determined based on regional specifics.

For Akmola, Aktobe, Atyrau, East Kazakhstan, West Kazakhstan, Karaganda, Kostanay, Pavlodar, North Kazakhstan regions, as well as Abai and Ulytau regions, applications for grain crops are accepted until April 1, 2026, and for oilseeds until April 15, 2026.

For farmers in Almaty, Zhambyl, Kyzylorda, Mangystau, Turkestan regions and the Zhetysu region, the deadline for submitting applications for grain and oilseed crops has been extended until March 3, 2026.

Insurance registration is carried out through the online agricultural insurance system on the Kezekte.kz platform. In their personal account, the farmer specifies the insured fields, selects an insurance company, concludes a contract, and pays 20% of the insurance premium. The remaining amount is transferred to the insurer by the state in the form of a subsidy.

The program is aimed at reducing risks for agricultural producers in the event of possible drought and ensuring stable production of spring crops.
