Kazakhstan Prepares for the New Harvest: Prodcorporation Frees Up Elevators

Elevators Prepared for the New Harvest

Prodcorporation is actively preparing grain storage facilities for the reception of the 2025 harvest to ensure efficient logistics. As part of this work, First Deputy Chairman of the Board Ildar Ismagulov personally monitored the progress in the Akmola region.

The visit took place on September 2 at Grain Base No. 1, which belongs to LLP Astyk Koimalary. Today, the enterprise is actively shipping grain under already concluded contracts. In the coming days, another 15,000 tons of products are expected to be shipped from there, which will significantly free up storage capacity.

Ildar Ismagulov emphasized that timely preparation of elevators is a key factor in accelerating grain turnover and optimizing the entire infrastructure. He noted that, for the successful reception of the new harvest, storage managers need to maintain constant interaction with farmers and transport companies. This will ensure uninterrupted and balanced grain supply.

Since the beginning of the harvesting campaign, Grain Base No. 1 has already received almost 8,500 tons of grain. The total capacity of this storage facility is 192,800 tons. Prodcorporation has signed contracts with licensed elevators in the Akmola region with a total capacity of 2.4 million tons.

These measures are being implemented on the instructions of Deputy Prime Minister — Minister of National Economy Serik Zhumangarin, which underlines the importance of this task at the state level.
