📦 Construction of the Largest Logistics Center in Kyrgyzstan Begins
The center will include modern supersized and bonded warehouses with a total area of over 136,000 square meters
In the Chuy region of Kyrgyzstan, the construction of a new customs and logistics center named "Global Hub" has commenced. The project is being implemented in Alamudun District and represents a strategic initiative aimed at enhancing the country's economic infrastructure.
The project involves an investment of $21 million. The center will feature modern supersized warehouses, dry warehouses, and bonded storage facilities. The total area of the complex will exceed 136,000 square meters, with 120,000 square meters allocated to warehouses.
According to Adylbek Kasymaliev, Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, this project addresses contemporary challenges and holds great significance for the country. He noted that once the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan railway is completed and the "Bedel" border checkpoint is fully operational, trade turnover is expected to grow substantially. Therefore, Kyrgyzstan must prepare powerful warehouse and logistics facilities now to stimulate economic growth.
The construction of the "Global Hub" center opens new opportunities for trade development and logistics improvement in the region. Experts believe the project will become a vital link in the chain of international transportation.
