In some districts of the region, grain gluten content reaches 40%

Farmers in the Akmola Region have harvested around one-third of the crop. As of August 28, approximately 2 million tonnes of grain had been harvested in the region.

According to Renat Kassenov, Deputy Head of the Regional Department of Agriculture, the quality of this year's crop is higher than last year's. Around 70% of the grain delivered to grain receiving facilities is classified as high-quality commercial Hi-Pro grain of the third class.

Provided that weather conditions remain favorable, the harvesting campaign in the region is expected to be completed between September 15 and 20.

In some districts of the Akmola Region, the gluten content of grain reaches 40%.

For the 2026 harvest, more than 5.5 million hectares in the region were planted with agricultural crops. At the same time, farmers continue to diversify the structure of cultivated areas. Over the past three years, the area planted with oilseed crops in the region has increased sixfold.
