Processed products account for 52% of Kazakhstan’s agricultural exports
Growth in investment and food production has strengthened the sector’s export potential
Minister of Agriculture of Kazakhstan Aidarbek Saparov reported at a government meeting on measures being implemented to develop agricultural raw material processing and increase the share of value-added products.
According to him, processed products currently account for 52% of the total export volume of the agro-industrial complex. The Minister emphasized that this indicator is the result of systematic efforts aimed at diversifying production and expanding the output of finished goods.
Earlier, the President of Kazakhstan set a task to increase the share of processed products in agricultural exports to 70% within three years.
The Ministry of Agriculture уточнило, что by the end of 2025, food production volume reached 3.9 trillion tenge, which is 8.1% higher than in 2024. Investment in fixed capital of the sector doubled to 389.4 billion tenge. In the first 11 months of 2025, exports of processed products amounted to $3.2 billion, showing a 33.8% increase compared to the same period of the previous year.
