The fifth meeting of the Kazakhstan-Jordan Intergovernmental Commission on Trade, Economic, and Cultural-Humanitarian Cooperation was held in Amman. The event was chaired by Nurlan Baibazarov, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Economy of Kazakhstan, and Yarub Al-Qudah, Jordan's Minister of Industry, Trade, and Supply.

Kazakhstan expressed readiness to expand exports of non-resource goods to the Jordanian market across 15 product categories, including wheat and other agricultural products.
Jordan, in turn, showed strong interest in importing Kazakh grain through alternative routes, including the Caspian Sea.
