A record in agricultural machinery leasing has been recorded in Kazakhstan
Tractors and grain harvesters made the main contribution
The year 2025 became the most productive period in terms of agricultural machinery leasing in the country. According to KazAgroFinance, farmers received 10,393 units of equipment worth 268.9 billion tenge. This has significantly advanced the modernization of the machine and tractor fleet.
As noted by the Ministry of Agriculture, the key growth driver was the preferential financing program with an interest rate of 5%. Within its framework, 6,395 contracts were concluded, under which farmers purchased 8,893 units of machinery worth 225.6 billion tenge.
Tractors traditionally remained the most in demand. Over the year, more than 4,249 units were purchased for 104.8 billion tenge. Strong demand was also recorded for grain harvesters — 807 machines worth 92.9 billion tenge. In addition, farms actively invested in seeders — 794 units for 8.9 billion tenge, as well as seeding complexes — 112 units for 15.8 billion tenge. Such dynamics indicate systematic renewal of production capacities.
At the same time, the AgroLeasing program with a rate of 12.6% continued to operate. In 2025, it financed the purchase of 527 units of machinery worth 14.6 billion tenge. Loaders, headers, various attachments, combines, and mowers were in the highest demand.
The share of domestically produced equipment also increased. By the end of the year, it reached 91% of the total leasing volume, or 245.7 billion tenge.
The ministry added that due to consistent renewal, the share of worn-out agricultural machinery in the country has decreased from 90% to 70% in recent years.
