Demand for grain from the poultry sector is growing in Kazakhstan
Product sales are aimed at supporting the domestic market and the agricultural sector
The national grain operator reports strong interest from poultry enterprises in purchasing grain. Prodcorporation has received applications from large poultry farms to buy about 200 thousand tons of products.
To ensure the domestic market and meet the needs of the processing industry, grain and oilseeds are sold through electronic exchange trading. Since the beginning of March 2026, 14.9 thousand tons of food wheat have already been supplied to flour-milling enterprises.
The main share of sales consists of third-class wheat with gluten content of at least 23%, which is in demand for flour production. Prices vary depending on quality indicators: wheat with 23–24% gluten is priced at 104 thousand tenge per ton, 25–26% at 109 thousand tenge, and 27–28% at 125 thousand tenge per ton.
Earlier, Prodcorporation announced the start of sales of available stocks of grain and oilseeds. At the same time, class 4–5 wheat is supplied exclusively for the needs of poultry and livestock enterprises, providing targeted support to these sectors.
The use of the exchange mechanism ensures transparency of transactions and a competitive environment. Trading sessions are held ежедневно on weekdays from 10:00 to 17:00, and all interested market participants can take part.
Prodcorporation continues its work to ensure food security and stable supply of grain to the domestic market.
