Agro-industrial projects with the participation of Chinese investors are being implemented in Northern Kazakhstan
The projects include the creation of facilities for grain storage and the production of vegetable oils
A number of projects in the agro-industrial complex involving Chinese investors are planned in the North Kazakhstan region. This was reported by LS with reference to the regional akimat.
According to the information, a feed mill worth 1.5 billion tenge may be commissioned in the region by 2027. Project documentation is currently under development. The plant’s capacity is expected to reach 100 thousand tons of products per year.
In addition, by 2032 it is planned to launch a large complex that will include facilities for grain storage, feed production and oilseed processing. Investments in this project are estimated at 6.5 billion tenge. The complex is expected to produce up to 150 thousand tons of feed and 50 thousand tons of vegetable oils, including sunflower, flaxseed and safflower oil.
It is noted that the land plot for the construction of the industrial facility has already been determined. In total, investments in the two projects will amount to about 8 billion tenge.
