In the Turkestan region, the construction of a new sunflower oil production facility has reached the final stage. The project, implemented by Albaraka 077 LLP, will be a significant addition to the processing capacities of the southern region.

The new production site is located in the industrial zone of the Darbazinsky rural district of the Saryagash district. According to the regional akimat, the total investment in the project amounted to 800 million tenge.

At the moment, the construction cycle is almost completed: the workshop building is completely ready, and the emphasis has shifted to the technological component. Now engineers are actively installing and commissioning the equipment.

The plant is scheduled to be fully commissioned in the first quarter of 2026.

The launch of the Albaraka 077 LLP plant coincides with a period of high activity in the country's oilseed sector. Recall that at the end of 2025, farmers in Kazakhstan showed an all-time high, harvesting 4.8 million tons of oilseeds.

The presence of such a powerful raw material base makes the launch of new processing shops a strategically important step. This makes it possible not only to export raw materials, but to transform high yields into a product with high added value, strengthening food security and export potential of the Turkestan region.

For the Saryagash district, the opening of such a production facility is not only an influx of investment, but also the creation of new jobs, as well as a stable sales channel for local agricultural producers. Given the logistics capabilities of the region, the company has every chance to occupy a confident niche in the domestic market and in cross-border trade.
