The United States confirmed the forecast: Kazakhstan will maintain stable volumes of wheat exports and production.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture has confirmed its forecast for wheat production and exports in Kazakhstan.

The US Department of Agriculture has left unchanged the forecast for wheat exports from Kazakhstan at the level of 10 million tons in the current agricultural year (from July 2024 to June 2025). This is stated in the January report of the department, inbusiness.kz reports with reference to Interfax.

The December forecast was also 10 million tons. Wheat imports are expected at 0.5 million tons.

The estimate of wheat production in Kazakhstan remained unchanged from the December forecast at 18 million tonnes.

Earlier it was reported that in 2024, Kazakh farmers harvested a record grain harvest.
