Concessional diesel price for the sowing campaign approved at 15% below market level

The decision is aimed at ensuring the timely conduct of spring field operations

In Kazakhstan, a concessional price for diesel fuel for agricultural producers has been approved to ensure the timely and high-quality implementation of spring field works. The fuel price has been set at 15% below the market level.

At a Government meeting, Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov instructed the Ministry of Energy to promptly approve the maximum concessional price for diesel fuel intended for the sowing campaign.

Minister of Energy Yerlan Akkenzhenov reported that the relevant decision has already been adopted, and the maximum price for farmers has been set with a 15% discount to market rates.

The ministry also clarified that, based on electronic applications from agricultural producers, a total volume of 402 thousand tons of concessional diesel fuel has been allocated for the sowing campaign.
