Aidarbek Saparov Retains Post as Kazakhstan's Minister of Agriculture

The Corresponding Decree Was Signed by President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev

Aidarbek Saparov has retained his position as Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the new government. The corresponding appointment decree was signed by President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.

Aidarbek Saparov has headed the Ministry of Agriculture since September 2023.

Aidarbek Saparov was born in 1966. He studied at the Omsk Agricultural Institute and the M. Kozybayev North Kazakhstan State University.

At various stages of his career, he worked in commercial organizations. He later served as deputy director of the North Kazakhstan regional representative office of the Food Corporation and also headed the regional territorial inspection of the Ministry of Agriculture in the North Kazakhstan Region.

Aidarbek Saparov subsequently served as akim of the Shal Akyn and Magzhan Zhumabayev districts of the North Kazakhstan Region.

He also held the positions of deputy akim of the North Kazakhstan Region for agricultural affairs and first deputy akim of the region. He later served as First Vice Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

From December 2022, Aidarbek Saparov served as akim of the North Kazakhstan Region. In September 2023, he was appointed Minister of Agriculture of Kazakhstan, and in the new government he once again took charge of the agricultural ministry.
