The RS-2400 silage cutter is designed for batch extraction of silage and haylage. The upper and side knives provide an even cut, preventing air from entering the feed. The closed-form design prevents spillage and loss of silage (haylage) mass Specifications: - working width – 2.41 m; - height – 1.44 m; - depth – 0.8 m; - filling volume – 2.12 m3; - cylinder diameter – 110 mm; - net weight – 1200 kg; - Number of service personnel – 1 person. Universal technology implemented in the RS-2400 silo cutter: The main advantages of silage cutters manufactured by JSC "Gomelagrokomplekt" are safety, ease of operation and efficiency: - Robust gripper and base design - the ability to quickly replace the hitch adapted to various types of loaders; - the rotation of the gripper at the base is carried out through lubricated plain bearings with increased diameters of axes rotating in hardened bushings fixed with crown nuts; - Optimal cutting radius and optimal pivot point - knives made of high-quality wear-resistant material HARDOX provide precise cutting and are easy to sharpen; - low weight and high stability due to a well-thought-out design; - Large opening angle for maximum mass removal - Low operating pressure; - no loosening of the feed mass (which excludes the formation of mold and loss of feed); - polymer disc in the interface of the gripper and the base (which reduces wear and increases the service life of the machine); - the wear-resistant tip additionally protects the knives (it is not difficult to replace them when they are completely worn out).
