Description
Gelagar IT+ Agar Agar is a natural, high-quality gelling agent (E406) made in Italy, derived from the red algae Gracilaria. It has a high gel strength (usually 900 g/cm² according to the Bloom method), which makes it ideal for marshmallows, soufflés, marshmallows, marmalade and "Bird's milk". It freezes at room temperature (above 35-40°C) and does not require a refrigerator to stabilize. Usage: Used as a plant-based substitute for gelatin. Consumption: Due to the high strength of the gel, it is used in smaller quantities than ordinary agar (about 1 tsp per glass of liquid). To activate, Gelagar IT+ agar must be added to a liquid (water, juice), brought to a boil (but not necessarily boiled for a long time) and the granules must be dissolved.
