The variety "Yantar" is characterized by high oil content of seeds, high content of squalene in fat, excellent nutritional and fodder qualities. The use of amaranth for animal feed increases milk yield, accelerates the growth of muscle mass in pigs, increases egg production in chickens (for chickens, the feed is pelleted). Harvesting in the form of green mass is from 700 or more centners per hectare. The green mass is harvested 2 times a season. All analyzes and experiments with animals were carried out in the Altai Territory.
It is recommended for cultivation for fodder purposes, for grain processing and for the production of amaranth oil.
