Description
The PWR 5 rake has a wide angle of attack adjustment and traditionally high structural strength. The rake is installed on the rear linkage of the tractor, the transfer of the machine from the working position to the transport position and vice versa is carried out by the operator. The PR-150M baler is designed for picking up hay and straw rolls, pressing them into rolls of 300 kg with subsequent wrapping with twine.
Due to the use of a permanent closed-type baling chamber, the baler has low feed loss, the chain-slatted pressing mechanism ensures high reliability of the structure.
The towing device (snitsa) of the baler is located on the side, and has 2 positions, the transport one goes behind the tractor and the worker rides to the side of it. The tractor moves with the right wheel along the swath, this allows you to harvest hay and straw of high yields, improves the visibility of the pick-up mechanism. The harvested mass in the swath can be more than 1 meter high, grass is not wound around the propeller shaft of the tractor, does not rake it in front of it and does not cling to the tractor linkage. It also allows you to see foreign objects in the roll.
The PR-150M baler differs from similar balers in reinforced elements and assemblies due to the use of thicker metal on the pressing chamber and the frame of the machine, the welding seams are solid, which gives greater reliability during operation.

In front of the gearbox and on the pick-up mechanism there are friction safety clutches that protect the unit from overloads when foreign objects get into the pick-up mechanism or into the pressing chamber, preventing equipment breakdowns.
The wrapping device has an electric drive together with a mechanical one, the start is made from the control panel from the tractor cab or 2-3 pulls of the drive cable. When the adjusted pressing density is reached, a signal is sent to the control panel and the machine operator only needs to press the start button of the wrapping device.
The bale is pressed by a pressing mechanism with a reinforced chain with a pitch of 38.1 mm and rolling pins made of a circle of high-carbon steel (not from a pipe), and three rollers for pressing hay (2 from the bottom and 1 from the top).
Baler drive – drive sprockets, ratchet clutch and gearbox are located on the side, which is easy to maintain and reduces time, as well as the open pick-up has free access and allows you to easily replace the spring tooth if necessary.
During the opening of the baling chamber, the hay bale is rolled back with the help of slopes (pitched board) behind the trajectory of closing the rear chamber, and the tractor driver does not need to return each time when unloading the finished bale.
All drive chains mounted on baler drives are made of high-quality carbon steels, and have a long service life, even in harsh operating conditions.
