🔹 The main importers of Russian flour were Afghanistan (34.8% of all shipments), China (10%), and Iraq (9.2%).

🔹 According to forecasts, by 2030, Russia’s wheat flour exports may reach 1.7 million tons, driven by high demand and improved logistics.

In the first eight months of this year, Russia exported more than 830,000 tons of wheat or wheat-rye flour, which is 30% higher than the figure for the same period last year. These data were published by the Federal Center "Agroexport" under the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation.

According to the report, Afghanistan became the key buyer of Russian flour, accounting for 34.8% of the total shipments. China (10%) and Iraq (9.2%) also ranked among the top three importers.

Preliminary forecasts from "Agroexport" suggest that by 2030, Russian wheat and wheat-rye flour exports could grow to 1.7 million tons. Experts attribute this growth to a steady demand for Russian products on international markets, as well as an increase in production volumes and improved logistics.

This export growth highlights Russia’s importance as one of the world’s leading suppliers of grain products. Stable flour supplies support food security in many countries, particularly in regions with high import needs.
