Agrarian Credit Corporation launches applications for Agri-Insurance 2025

Applications are now open — via the QALQAN service on Kezekte.kz

The Agrarian Credit Corporation (ACC) has announced the launch of applications for agri-insurance for 2025, covering both crop production and livestock sectors. Applications can be submitted via the online QALQAN service available on the digital platform Kezekte.kz.

The application process is fully digitalized: users must specify the insurance object in their personal account — either digitized fields or animals registered in the official Agricultural Animal Identification System. The next steps involve selecting an insurance company, signing an insurance contract, and paying 20% of the insurance premium. The remaining 80% is covered by the state through a subsidy mechanism, with the funds being disbursed by the Operator upon the insurer's request.

This year, insurance against soil moisture deficiency or excess is available for both sowing and harvesting seasons in the following regions: Akmola, Aktobe, Atyrau, East Kazakhstan, West Kazakhstan, Karaganda, Kostanay, Pavlodar, North Kazakhstan regions, as well as Abai and Ulytau regions.

Application deadlines are clearly defined:
• for cereal crops (drought insurance) — until April 15,
• for oilseeds — until April 30,
• insurance against excessive rainfall during harvest season is available until June 30.

Livestock and poultry farmers are eligible for insurance coverage year-round, regardless of the region.

The ACC emphasized that approximately 2 billion tenge has been allocated for the 2025 agri-insurance program.
