Baltic Ports Open for Kazakhstan: "Astyk Trans" Launches Multimodal Grain Transportation

Kazakhstan’s railway operator for agricultural cargo, JSC "Astyk Trans", is expanding its export routes. The company has signed several agreements with grain terminals at Baltic Sea ports and announced the launch of multimodal transportation for Kazakhstan’s crop production.
Under the new logistics scheme, carriers will offer a full range of services, including rail transportation of grain, transshipment at ports, and subsequent maritime transport. It is planned that shipments will be organized in block trains and group consignments, optimizing logistics and reducing delivery times.
