🔹 Tokayev ordered to stop the seizure of land if it is used for its intended purpose, despite violations during its allocation.

🔹 The President emphasized that it is unacceptable to destroy functioning enterprises where investments have been made.

🔹 Tokayev called for considering the contribution of farmers to the development of rural areas and ensuring legal employment in rural areas.

President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has given clear instructions to halt the practice of seizing agricultural lands that were allocated with violations by local administrations if these lands are being used for their intended purpose. In the past two years, dozens of successfully operating farms have faced lawsuits seeking to take away their land, despite active usage of these plots.

In his Address to the Nation of Kazakhstan, the President emphasized the importance of land as a key element of the agricultural sector's investment attractiveness. He noted that the commission on land seizure identified more than 2,000 illegal decisions by local executive bodies regarding the allocation of agricultural land without proper tenders.

"If the land was acquired in violation of the law and is not being used, it should be returned to the state through a simplified procedure. However, if the land user is working honestly and has invested, it is unacceptable to destroy an existing enterprise," the President stated.

Kassym-Jomart Tokayev also highlighted the need to consider the contribution of enterprises to the development of rural areas and the creation of permanent jobs for local residents. He pointed out that many land users live far from the land that brings them profit and do not care about the well-being of villagers, which he finds unacceptable. The President instructed the government and the General Prosecutor's Office to address these landowners.

Moreover, the President set the task of promoting productive and legal employment, especially in rural areas, underscoring the importance of supporting conscientious farmers and preserving existing enterprises.
