Prodcorporation Fulfills KZT 62.7 Billion in Bond Obligations
Following payments to investors, the company's debt obligations have decreased to KZT 52.4 billion since the beginning of 2026
JSC NC Prodcorporation has completed the fulfillment of its obligations under two issues of medium-term bonds. The total amount of payments reached KZT 62.7 billion. Settlements with investors were completed at the end of August 2026.
Of the total amount, KZT 60 billion was allocated to the repayment of principal, while another KZT 2.7 billion was paid as coupon income.
Prodcorporation's bonds were placed on the KASE stock exchange in early 2025 with a maturity of 1.5 years. When determining the financing period, the company took into account the specific features of the grain market's cash cycle and the objectives of effective financial planning.
According to Ildar Ismagulov, First Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of JSC NC Prodcorporation, a significant need for liquidity arises during the crop purchasing period, while proceeds from the subsequent sale of grain are distributed over later periods. The 1.5-year bond maturity made it possible to align the company's financing needs with expected cash flows and fulfill its obligations to investors on time.
According to him, effective management of financial resources is particularly important for Prodcorporation given its role in ensuring the stability of the grain market and supporting Kazakh agricultural producers.
The company combines the objectives of maintaining financial stability with ensuring food security and supporting the agricultural sector. Prodcorporation purchases agricultural products and provides agricultural producers with access to financing, including through forward and direct purchase programs.
In this regard, the management of liquidity and debt burden is directly linked to the ability to maintain the necessary amount of financial resources to support farmers.
Following the redemption of the two bond issues, Prodcorporation's total debt obligations have decreased to KZT 52.4 billion since the beginning of 2026.
Ildar Ismagulov noted that a significant portion of the obligations was repaid on time and primarily using funds generated from the company's core operations. At the same time, Prodcorporation retains the financial resources necessary to continue working with agricultural producers.
The reduction in the debt burden also expands the company's opportunities for further financing planning and the fulfillment of its assigned tasks.
Prodcorporation continues its efforts to further reduce its debt burden, improve the efficiency of financial resource management and ensure sustainable financing of the agricultural sector.
