🌾 Prodcorporation Helps Small Farmers of Kazakhstan Enter Export Markets

🔹 Farmers in Kazakhstan are offered a unique opportunity to consolidate batches of products for export, including wheat, barley, and lentils.

🔹 The products must meet strict quality standards, including parameters for moisture, gluten, and impurities.

🔹 The project is aimed at small and medium-sized farmers, helping them access international markets.

Prodcorporation has announced the launch of a new pilot project aimed at consolidating agricultural products from farmers for export. Notably, the corporation does not purchase the products but organizes their shipment from a single elevator, simplifying access for small and medium-sized farmers to international markets.

The project plans to consolidate at least 1,000 tons of products, including soft wheat of the 3rd class, barley, and lentils produced in Kazakhstan. Applications from agricultural producers will be accepted until October 31, and the consolidation process will be completed by November 15. This offers a unique opportunity for farmers who find it difficult to export independently.

To participate in the project, the products must meet strict quality requirements. Soft wheat of the 3rd class must have a bulk weight of at least 710 g/l, gluten content of at least 23%, a falling number of at least 160, protein content of at least 11.5%, and moisture content no higher than 14%. The allowable weed impurity should not exceed 2%, and grain impurities should not exceed 5%. Barley of the 2nd class must meet the following requirements: bulk weight of at least 630 g/l, moisture content of no more than 14.5%, weed impurities of no more than 2%, and grain impurities of no more than 7%. For plate lentils, the requirements include a moisture content of no more than 15%, weed impurities of no more than 3%, and grain impurities of no more than 2%. The presence of pests in agricultural products is not allowed, ensuring high quality.

Prodcorporation emphasized that the project is aimed at supporting small and medium-sized farmers, who often face difficulties in independently organizing exports. However, if the volumes of export batches are insufficient, it is possible to involve other market participants to achieve the necessary volume. If the minimum volume of the batch is not collected, or if the market situation changes or importers refuse to sign export contracts, the unused agricultural products will be returned to the farmers.

This project offers farmers the opportunity not only to simplify the export process but also to access more favorable cooperation conditions in foreign markets.
