🔹 Restrictions will remain in place until the situation is fully under control.

🔹 Following the death of 26 cattle, immediate measures for their disposal and disinfection were undertaken. Ongoing research into the disease's causative agent is being conducted by specialists at the National Veterinary Reference Center.

Quarantine measures have been introduced in the village of Prirechnoye in the Kostanay region in response to the detection of anthrax cases among cattle. The decision, made by the Akim of the Sverdlovsk rural district, will maintain restrictions until the epizootic situation is fully normalized. This measure was adopted after veterinary services confirmed infection cases in this populated area located in the Denisov district.

The detection of this disease underscores significant issues within local veterinary services, previously highlighted by the Minister of Agriculture, Aidarbek Saparov. The minister critically assessed the preventative efforts of the services, pointing out the non-compliance with vaccination regulations, neglect of young livestock records, and improper maintenance of burial sites. An inspection by the environmental prosecutor's office this spring not only revealed sham vaccinations but also the concealment of disease facts, violations in vaccine handling, and manipulations in the livestock registry statistics.

In response to the death of 26 cattle in the village of Prirechnoye, immediate actions were taken for their disposal using a mobile incinerator, along with extensive disinfection operations in the area.

Currently, specialists at the National Veterinary Reference Center are conducting differential diagnostics of the disease's causative agent. The results of these studies are expected to provide additional information about the ongoing situation, which is under the strict control of the Veterinary Control and Surveillance Committee.
