🇰🇿 Current Success of the Harvesting Campaign: 8 Million Tons of Grain Threshed

 

🔹 In Kazakhstan, around 8 million tons of grain have already been harvested from more than 5.4 million hectares. The average yield of grain crops is 14.7 centners per hectare.

🔹 In addition to grain crops, more than 1 million tons of potatoes, almost 1.9 million tons of vegetables, and over 2.3 million tons of melons have been harvested.

🔹 The state actively supports farmers: the volume of concessional financing for spring field and harvesting work in 2024 amounted to 580 billion tenge, which is almost three times more compared to previous years.

As of September 12, the harvesting of major grain crops in Kazakhstan was carried out on an area of more than 5.4 million hectares. With an average yield of 14.7 centners per hectare, about 8 million tons of grain were harvested.

 

Of this area, wheat accounted for 3.7 million hectares, with an average yield of 14.2 centners per hectare, yielding 5.4 million tons. Barley was harvested from 1.2 million hectares, with a yield of 15.8 centners per hectare, resulting in 1.9 million tons. Oats were harvested from 99.4 thousand hectares, with a yield of 14.7 centners per hectare, producing 145.9 thousand tons.

 

Oilseeds were harvested from 67.3 thousand hectares, with an average yield of 10.2 centners per hectare, yielding 68.6 thousand tons.

 

More than 1 million tons of potatoes were harvested from 41.1 thousand hectares, with a yield of 260.4 centners per hectare. Vegetable crops were harvested from 77.4 thousand hectares, with a yield of 242 centners per hectare, producing almost 1.9 million tons.

 

Melon crops were harvested from 92.4 thousand hectares, with a yield of 252.9 centners per hectare, yielding more than 2.3 million tons.

 

The harvesting campaign involved 149.9 thousand tractors, 37.6 thousand grain harvesters, 14.9 thousand mowers, and 195 thousand other pieces of machinery.

 

It should be noted that the volume of concessional financing for spring field and harvesting work this year amounted to 580 billion tenge, which is almost three times more than in previous years.

 

All issues related to the harvesting campaign are under close supervision by the authorities.
