Agrarian Credit Corporation Provides Loan Deferral of 35 Billion Tenge

Due to unfavorable weather conditions that have led to decreased crop yields in several regions of Kazakhstan, the Agrarian Credit Corporation, a subsidiary of JSC "NUH Baiterek", has announced the provision of loan deferrals to agricultural producers who are in a difficult situation. The amount of deferred payments currently exceeds 35 billion tenge, and additional requests for a sum of 1.5 billion tenge are under consideration.

The Corporation emphasizes that to receive a deferral, farmers need to provide just two documents: an application and an act from the authorized body confirming force majeure circumstances. It is noted that timely requests for loan extension do not incur penalties or punitive sanctions against the borrowers, which is a significant support for the affected farmers.
