The Ministry of Agriculture has prepared a draft order as part of the strategy aimed at synchronizing agro-industrial policy with the industrial strategy of the country. The initiative is a response to the instruction of Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov and is aimed at introducing differentiated subsidization of interest rates on loans for the purchase of agricultural machinery.

According to the project, provides for different interest rates on loans for the purchase of agricultural machinery. In particular, the rate for domestically produced machinery is set at 6% per annum, while for imported machinery the rate will be 15%. This approach contributes to the support of the national manufacturer and the development of domestic machine building, as well as ensures the availability of necessary equipment for farmers.

The document specifies that subsidizing the interest rate to the level of 15% per annum for imported machinery will be carried out both through lending and leasing. This measure will allow agricultural producers to purchase the necessary equipment at more favorable prices, thus contributing to the development of the country's agro-industrial complex.
