Tons of Kazakh Flax Delivered for Processing to Yinchuan Bonded Zone

Development of export corridors and industrial processing of Kazakh raw materials in Ningxia

The Yinchuan logistics hub, the administrative center of the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, has received a large shipment of Kazakh flax weighing 1,767 tons. The delivery was carried out as part of the development of cross-border railway connections between China and the countries of Central Asia. After crossing the border at the Khorgos checkpoint, the train arrived at the southern freight yard of the Yinchuan Logistics Center, from where the agricultural raw materials were promptly transported by road to the city’s comprehensive bonded zone for deep processing.

The choice of the region for delivery is driven by the fact that Ningxia has traditionally been one of China’s key centers for the processing and consumption of flaxseed. The imported agricultural raw materials will be used to produce high-quality vegetable oil. The finished products are expected to enter the market ahead of the Chinese New Year, helping to meet the seasonal surge in demand in the food market.

Representatives of the regional agribusiness sector emphasize that the use of established railway corridors linking China and Central Asia has significantly optimized logistics, making deliveries faster and more cost-effective. According to industry experts, such regular routes ensure the stability of raw material supplies for local agro-industrial enterprises and strengthen production chains in the oilseed processing sector.
