For seven months, fodder production in Kazakhstan increased by 10%

 

For the period from September 2023 to March 2024, Kazakhstan produced 1.13 million tons of finished fodder for farm animals, according to official statistics. This figure is 10% higher than the results of the same period last season, when production was 1.03 million tons.

 

The leading position in fodder production is occupied by North Kazakhstan region, where for seven months of the new season 272 thousand tons of fodder was produced, which is significantly higher than the previous period's figure of 165.4 thousand tons.

 

The second place is occupied by Almaty region with the production volume of 226 thousand tons for this period, which is slightly lower than last year's level of 242.1 thousand tons.

 

The third line in the list of the largest producers is Akmola region, where for the same period of the current season was produced 179.3 thousand tons of finished fodder, compared to 188.9 thousand tons for the same months last year.
