🌾 Akmola Region Solidifies Leadership in Grain Harvest: Over 5 Million Tons Threshed, Harvest Continues

83% of the planned area has been harvested, and over half of the yield meets high quality standards

🔹 Farmers in the region have already harvested more than 5 million tons of grain, surpassing last year's figures.

🔹 83% of the planned area has been harvested, and over half of the yield meets high quality standards.

🔹 Some farms show a yield of up to 57 centners per hectare, highlighting the region’s strong potential.

The harvesting campaign is actively continuing in one of the key grain-producing regions of the country. So far, local farmers have collected 5 million tons of grain, which already exceeds last year’s results. This achievement is one of the best among grain-producing regions. According to forecasts, the total grain harvest is expected to exceed 6 million tons, which will surpass the initial projections.

As of October 1, farmers in the region have harvested approximately 3.9 million hectares out of 4.7 million hectares of grain and leguminous crops, which represents 83% of the planned areas. More than half of the harvested crop meets high-quality standards, allowing local agricultural producers to sell their grain at market prices.

Individual farms demonstrate particularly high yields. For example, in LLP “Zhuravlevka-1” in Bulandy District, the wheat yield reached 57 centners per hectare. This farm is expected to harvest 116,000 hectares, of which 71,000 hectares are dedicated to grain and leguminous crops. Currently, 60,000 hectares have been harvested, with an average yield of 30 centners per hectare. On certain fields, where mineral fertilizers were applied, and all agronomic measures were followed, yields reach 50 centners per hectare and higher.

Similarly impressive results are observed in other farms in the region. In LLP “Maksimovskoe” of Sandyktau District, the wheat yield exceeded 40 centners per hectare, while LLP “Dekhan Plus” of Zerendinsky District shows a yield of 33 centners per hectare.

It is expected that in the coming days, many farms in the region will complete the harvesting campaign, collecting more than the planned amount. This agricultural season promises to be one of the most successful for the region, creating favorable conditions for selling the harvested grain on both domestic and foreign markets.
