Ministry of Agriculture Plans to Subsidize Flour Transportation for Export

Compensation for transportation costs is expected to be provided after export shipments are confirmed

The Ministry of Agriculture of Kazakhstan has prepared a draft order providing partial reimbursement of transportation costs for wheat flour classified under EAEU FEACN code 1101 00.

This was announced by Yevgeny Karabanov, Head of the Analytics Committee of the Grain Union of Kazakhstan, on his Telegram channel.

According to the published information, budget subsidies will be paid to flour exporters after the application process is completed and documents confirming the export shipment have been submitted.

Support is planned for the following two routes:

  • Transit through the Republic of Uzbekistan to the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan — KZT 16,338 per tonne;
  • Transit through Turkmenistan to the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan — KZT 16,338 per tonne.

Applications and supporting documents must be submitted no later than 45 working days after the cargo arrives at the destination railway station.

The program operator has been designated as JSC "NC Food Contract Corporation".

Previously, Kazakhstan introduced transportation subsidies for grain exports for the second consecutive season.
