The National Company “Kazakhstan Temir Zholy” (KTZ) and the transport and logistics group of companies “FinInvest” have signed a Memorandum of Cooperation focused on the development of container transportation and the modernization of terminal infrastructure. This initiative aims to increase Kazakhstan's transit potential and create new opportunities for cargo transportation through the country.

One of the main ideas within the framework of the agreement is the construction of a modern multimodal transport and logistics center (TLC) in Astana. This facility will become a vital link in boosting the transit of Russian goods through Kazakhstan, thereby strengthening the country’s role as a key transport hub in Eurasia.

The implementation of the project will create a stable international logistics corridor capable of meeting the growing demand for transit transportation. Additionally, the development of terminal infrastructure will give an economic boost to the region and strengthen Kazakhstan's position in the global transport services market.

“FinInvest” has already established itself as one of the largest private investors in the field of multimodal logistics in Russia. The company plans to build 11 modern transport and logistics centers with a total capacity of 5.65 million TEU. The experience and large-scale projects of “FinInvest” will serve as a valuable resource for the effective implementation of initiatives in Kazakhstan.
