Export Grain Transportation Volumes from Kazakhstan Continue to Grow

Growth was also recorded in shipments of compound feed, grain processing products, and chemical fertilizers

According to the results of January–April 2026, cargo transportation volume on the KTZ railway network reached 84.4 million tons. Domestic transportation accounted for 54 million tons, while export shipments increased by 8% to 30.4 million tons.

Positive dynamics continue in the grain transportation segment. During the first four months of the year, grain transportation volume increased by 13% to 5.3 million tons. At the same time, grain exports grew by 14.4%, reaching 4.2 million tons.

Growth was also recorded in the transportation of grain processing products. Shipments of milled products increased by 3% to 1 million tons. A significant increase was observed in the compound feed segment, where transportation volumes rose by 62% to 1.3 million tons.

In addition, transportation of chemical fertilizers on the KTZ network increased. According to the results of January–April, volumes grew by 3.7% to 1.7 million tons.
