Harvest Campaign in Kazakhstan Nears Completion: Interim Results
🔹 The grain harvest is nearing completion – 9.1 million hectares have already been harvested, with 13.5 million tons of grain threshed at an average yield of 14.7 centners per hectare.
🔹 Strong results for vegetables and melons – more than 2.1 million tons of vegetables and 2.4 million tons of melons have been harvested, with a yield of over 240 centners per hectare.
🔹 580 billion tenge has been allocated for spring fieldwork and harvesting operations, which is nearly three times more than in previous years.
As of today, Kazakhstan continues harvesting its main grain and leguminous crops. So far, more than 9.1 million hectares of crops have been harvested. The total grain yield has reached 13.5 million tons, with an average yield of 14.7 centners per hectare.
Interim Results for Grain:
Wheat: harvested on 6.8 million hectares, yielding almost 9.7 million tons with an average yield of 14.1 centners per hectare.
Barley: harvested on 1.5 million hectares, yielding 2.5 million tons with an average yield of 16.5 centners per hectare.
Oats: harvested on 133.1 thousand hectares, yielding 207 thousand tons with an average yield of 15.6 centners per hectare.
Results for Oilseeds and Vegetable Crops:
Oilseeds: harvested on 136 thousand hectares, yielding 150.3 thousand tons with an average yield of 11.0 centners per hectare.
Potatoes: harvested on 57.1 thousand hectares, yielding nearly 1.5 million tons with an average yield of 257.5 centners per hectare.
Vegetables: harvested on 87.7 thousand hectares, yielding over 2.1 million tons with an average yield of 243.3 centners per hectare.
Melons: harvested on 93.5 thousand hectares, yielding over 2.4 million tons with an average yield of 258.8 centners per hectare.
Technical Support

37.6 thousand grain harvesters,
14.9 thousand reapers,
195 thousand other units of equipment.
Preferential Financing
This year, 580 billion tenge was allocated for spring fieldwork and harvest operations, which is almost three times more than in previous years. The government is closely monitoring the progress of the harvest campaign to ensure its successful completion.
