Kostanay region has utilized 15 billion tenge in forward procurement, and funding continues

The program demonstrates strong interest from agricultural producers

A total of 15 billion tenge was allocated to implement the forward procurement mechanism for agricultural products in Kostanay region. This amount has already been fully utilized, but support for farmers continues through additional financial resources, according to the regional Department of Agriculture.

As of the beginning of this week, 134 applications totaling 18 billion tenge were received from agricultural producers. Of these, 130 applications totaling 17.9 billion tenge were approved. Funding has been allocated for 104 applications totaling 15.1 billion tenge, covering 67 farms.

Under the signed contracts, agricultural producers will supply 205,500 tons of agricultural products to the Food Corporation after the harvest season, the department clarified.
