Baiterek launches a unified contact center: farmers to receive consultations without bureaucracy

Unified contact center simplifies farmers’ access to state support

A unified contact center for businesses has started operating in Kazakhstan, bringing together the communication channels of the country’s key financial institutions. As of January 1, 2026, farmers can receive consultations on concessional financing and agricultural machinery leasing through a “one-stop-shop” approach.

The national managing holding Baiterek announced the optimization of its interaction processes with entrepreneurs. The key innovation is the launch of the free short number 1408, designed to eliminate the need for businesses to independently search for information across multiple agencies.

For representatives of the agro-industrial sector, this means significant time savings. Initial consultations on the programs of the main sectoral operators — the Agrarian Credit Corporation (ACC) and KazAgroFinance (KAF) — are now available through a single phone call.

Farmers can promptly clarify the terms for obtaining loans for spring fieldwork, livestock purchases, as well as learn details of leasing programs aimed at renewing agricultural machinery fleets, without having to call the offices of each organization separately.

In addition to purely agricultural instruments, the unified operator provides consultations on programs of other subsidiary organizations of the holding that may be useful for related businesses and agricultural processors. These include:

  • Damu Entrepreneurship Development Fund (SME support);

  • Development Bank of Kazakhstan (large investment projects);

  • Export Credit Agency (insurance for grain and processed product exporters);

  • Industrial Development Fund;

  • Qazaqstan Investment Corporation;

  • Kazakhstan Housing Company (legal aspects).

According to the holding’s press service, the new format is aimed at improving customer orientation. Instead of navigating complex websites and phone numbers of various agencies, entrepreneurs receive an initial consultation from a contact center operator. The specialist helps identify the most relevant state support instrument and, if deeper application processing is required, transfers the inquiry to профиль experts of the respective organization.

The 1408 hotline operates on weekdays from 08:30 to 17:30. Calls are free for subscribers of all mobile operators in Kazakhstan.

Centralizing communication channels is a logical step in the digitalization of public services. For farmers often located in remote areas with unstable internet access, having a single free number to resolve financial issues is a critically important tool for improving access to state support.
