Kazakhstan's Agro-Industrial Exports Reached $7 Billion in 2025

Expanded export geography and the development of processing industries supported the sector's growing export potential

Kazakhstan continues to expand the geography of its agro-industrial exports to international markets. This was announced by Vice Minister of Agriculture Azat Sultanov during a Government meeting.

According to him, growth in agricultural production and processing has created favorable conditions for further export expansion. By the end of 2025, Kazakhstan's agro-industrial exports increased by 37% to reach US$7 billion. More than half of this amount consisted of processed products.

Significant growth was also recorded in the grain sector. During the 2024/2025 marketing year, exports of grain and flour in grain equivalent reached a record 15.3 million tonnes.

Thanks to export promotion measures, Kazakh agricultural products entered the markets of Morocco, Algeria, the United Arab Emirates, Vietnam, and several European countries. In addition, exports to Azerbaijan, Georgia, and Türkiye were resumed.

The vegetable oil industry also maintained positive momentum. By the end of 2025, exports of sunflower oil increased by 41%, while exports of refined sunflower oil more than doubled, rising 2.1 times.
