Kazakhstan increased agricultural exports to Tajikistan

Growth in freight transport strengthens trade and economic cooperation between the countries

At the end of 2025, the total volume of freight transportation between Kazakhstan and Tajikistan increased by 15.1% to 5.9 million tons. At the same time, exports from Kazakhstan to Tajikistan grew by 7.6%, reaching 2.6 million tons. The structure of shipments includes grain and flour, petroleum products, ferrous metals, non-ferrous ore, vegetable oil, and other types of goods.

This was announced following a meeting between Chairman of the Board of JSC “NC “Kazakhstan Temir Zholy” Talgat Aldybergenov and Head of the State Unitary Enterprise “Rohi Ohani Tojikiston” Komil Mirzoali.

During the talks, the parties confirmed their intention to continue joint efforts to enhance the competitiveness of railway routes, strengthen regional trade and economic cooperation, and further integrate logistics processes. Issues of document digitalization and coordinated development of transport corridors linking Central Asia with international markets were also discussed.
