Export duty on Russian wheat to return to zero

Export duties on barley and corn remain at zero

The Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation announced that the export duty on Russian wheat, set at 370.1 rubles per tonne from July 8, will remain in effect for only one week. After that, the duty rate will return to zero.

Export duties on barley and corn remain unchanged at zero. The zero rate for these crops has been in effect since April 15.

According to the Russian Ministry of Agriculture, the duties were calculated based on the following indicative prices: wheat — $232.3 per tonne compared to $239.4 in the previous calculation period, barley — $213.6 compared to $218.3, and corn — $230.5 compared to $230.3 per tonne.

The current duty rates will remain in force until and including July 22.
