KazAgroFinance financed agricultural machinery worth KZT 250.5 billion in the first half of the year

The largest financing volumes were recorded in North Kazakhstan, Kostanay, and Akmola regions

KazAgroFinance JSC has summarized its performance for January–June 2026. During the first six months of the year, Kazakh agricultural producers leased agricultural machinery worth KZT 250.5 billion, nearly doubling the figure recorded during the same period in 2025.

According to the company, the value of leasing agreements signed in the first half of 2025 amounted to KZT 126.6 billion. Thus, in 2026 KazAgroFinance not only met its planned targets but significantly exceeded them.

The largest volumes of financing were concentrated in three regions. North Kazakhstan Region ranked first with KZT 53.6 billion in signed agreements, followed by Kostanay Region with KZT 44.3 billion and Akmola Region with KZT 40.1 billion. These results reflect the key role of these grain-producing regions in renewing agricultural machinery fleets.

The largest share of machinery—6,381 units worth KZT 209.1 billion—was financed under the preferential leasing program with an annual interest rate of 5%, which remains the most popular program among agricultural producers.

Financing was also provided under several other programs. Under the "Agroleasing" program with a 12.6% annual rate, 1,189 units of machinery worth KZT 34.6 billion were financed. The "Made in Kazakhstan" program with a 6% rate financed 146 units worth KZT 4.4 billion. Under the "Preferential Leasing at 6%" program, farmers received 51 units worth KZT 2.4 billion, while the "Own Feed" program at 6% financed two units valued at KZT 16.2 million.

According to Yerkebulan Zhumzhayev, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of KazAgroFinance, the increase in leasing volumes is the result of consistent work with farmers across the country. He noted that preferential programs effectively help agricultural producers renew their machinery fleets, and the company intends to further increase financing volumes during the second half of the year.

During the first six months of 2026, KazAgroFinance services were used by 3,931 agricultural producers, ranging from small farms to large agricultural enterprises.

Demand for the company's programs continues to grow. Since the beginning of the year, applications totaling KZT 311.5 billion have been submitted for the acquisition of nearly 9,000 units of machinery. In addition, financing for another 859 units worth KZT 35.9 billion has already been approved and is awaiting contract signing, while applications totaling KZT 25 billion are currently under review.
