Digital Transformation of the AIC: Agrosearch.kz CEO Proposes Integration with State Platforms to the Minister
Agrosearch.kz Proposes State Platform Integration to the Ministry of Agriculture
Minister of Agriculture Aidarbek Saparov held a regular reception for citizens, where the key topic was the implementation of advanced IT solutions in the agro-industrial complex. One of the discussed projects presented to the head of the department was the digital platform Agrosearch.kz.
During the meeting, the platform's CEO, Zhenis Shaimerdenov, demonstrated the service's functionality and put forward an initiative capable of significantly simplifying the lives of Kazakhstani farmers. He proposed carrying out a technical integration of Agrosearch.kz with state information systems.
The main idea of the proposal is the creation of a "digital window." Integration would allow for automatic data synchronization: advertisements and offers posted on the private platform could be duplicated on state resources (and vice versa). This would allow agrarians to expand their reach of potential partners and buyers.
In his presentation, Zhenis Shaimerdenov placed special emphasis on the platform's export potential. In conditions where Kazakhstan is actively increasing supplies of agricultural products to external markets, the language barrier often becomes an obstacle to direct cooperation.
The Agrosearch.kz website is already fully functional in four languages: Kazakh, Russian, English, and Chinese. Automatic translation of advertisements is powered by artificial intelligence.
"This is not just interface convenience; it is a real tool for business. The availability of Chinese and English versions opens up direct access for our farmers to foreign partners, bypassing the chain of intermediaries," the project concept notes.
In addition to the marketplace function, the Agrosearch.kz team has taken on analytical work. Shaimerdenov told the Minister that company employees conduct constant monitoring of the industry, regularly conducting surveys among farmers.
This approach allows for obtaining "live" information about real problems on the ground — from fuel and lubricant prices to harvest sales issues. These data can become a valuable aid for the Ministry when making operational decisions.
Aidarbek Saparov carefully studied the voiced proposals. The Minister assured that the initiative regarding integration and other ideas aimed at the digitalization of the industry will be studied by the relevant departments of the Ministry of Agriculture.
