Kazakhstan Resumes Preferential Leasing Program for Forage Equipment

KazAgroFinance Reopens Preferential Leasing Program

Starting August 4, 2025, KazAgroFinance JSC will resume accepting applications for the “Svoi Korma” (“Own Feed”) program — one of the key tools for supporting the livestock industry through subsidized leasing of forage harvesting machinery.

The “Svoi Korma” program is targeted at agricultural producers engaged in fattening, keeping, or breeding farm animals. Its main objective is to strengthen the feed base of the livestock sector, improve animal productivity, and increase the volume of livestock production.

The leasing covers the acquisition of forage harvesting equipment and mobile irrigation systems, both domestically produced and imported. The financing is provided for up to 10 years at an interest rate of 6% per annum, with a required down payment of at least 15%.

Eligible participants include agricultural producers who have pasture or hayfields in their land structure and can provide documentation confirming their activity in feed production or harvesting. In addition, recipients of funding are required to increase their payroll fund and tax contributions by at least 10% within two years following the financial year in which the funding was received.
