Agrarian Credit Corporation Extends Crop Insurance Applications Until July 15

Applications for crop insurance against excessive soil moisture can be submitted electronically using a digital signature

Agrarian Credit Corporation JSC has announced the extension of the application period for insurance of grain and oilseed crops against the risk of excessive soil moisture during the harvest season. Applications may now be submitted until July 15, 2026. The decision was made to provide agricultural producers with additional time to arrange insurance coverage.

Applications for insurance contracts can be submitted through the Kezekte.kz platform.

The program is available to farmers in the Abai Region, Ulytau Region, Akmola, Aktobe, Atyrau, East Kazakhstan, West Kazakhstan, Karaganda, Kostanay, Pavlodar, and North Kazakhstan regions.

Insurance coverage will be valid from August 15 to October 14, 2026, covering risks associated with excessive soil moisture during the harvest period.

All procedures—from submitting an application and signing the insurance contract to receiving an insurance payout—are carried out electronically through the Qalqan agricultural insurance information system available on the Kezekte.kz platform. A digital signature (EDS) is required to complete the contract.

Thanks to government support, the cost of the insurance policy for farmers has been reduced by 80%. The government subsidizes most of the insurance premium, meaning agricultural producers pay only 20% of the total insurance cost.
