For the first time, a reverse loading operation along the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (TITR) in the Turkey–China direction was organized through Kazakhstan. The project was implemented by KTZ subsidiary KTZ Express together with the Turkish company Pasifik Eurasia Lojistik Dış Ticaret A.Ş.

The container train followed the route Izmir — Aktau Port — Altynkol Station — Chengxiang in China’s Fujian Province.

According to KTZ, transit time across Kazakhstan from Aktau Port to Altynkol Station took 83 hours.

The national company stated that the launch of the reverse loading service confirms growing demand for the Middle Corridor as an efficient and competitive route for eastbound transportation from Turkey and European countries to China.

According to KTZ data, freight transportation volumes between Kazakhstan and Turkey increased by 34% in 2025.
